A common question asked by new MarketClub members is, “where do I start?” While we’re always happy to answer that question for anyone who calls or emails, we knew there had to be a better way to reach members on a larger scale. That being said, we’re excited to announce the start of weekly “Introduction to MarketClub” webinars for MarketClub customers.
During these weekly webinars we will cover: an overview of the program, our “Trade Triangle” trading strategy, and frequently asked questions as well as user submitted questions. For those who are not able to be present during the live webinar, we will post recorded versions of the webinar on our site.
If you’re not familiar with the term, a webinar is a web-based seminar which allows attendees to dial into a conference call and also view the presenter’s screen from any computer. You only need to download a quick applet to join in.
Our first webinar will be this Friday, November 13th at 4pm EST hosted by our resident MarketClub expert, Jeremy Lutz. To help us work out all of the bugs, we are extending an open invitation to a small group of current MarketClub members for “beta” testing on a first-come, first-serve basis.
If you’d like to attend, just email us at

Jeremy,
I really wanted to attend this webinar, but I will be unable to do so.
Where will this be posted so I can listen to it later?
Will it be on the blog or will it be on the member log in ? How long will it appear so I can listen in?
Thanks,
Dina
Dina,
Please see comment above. Hope you will be able to join us next time.

Since some members will be still at work and can not join the webinar, are you planning to record it and publish the link?
so, we can watch it later...
Trade2bfree,
We will be recording this afternoon's webinar and will post the video early next week for all of our users to view. We are also planning to do webinars once a week as a regular feature for MarketClub members.

Thanks Adam for the reply about dividends. I agree, price action is the most important in determining triangles.
And yet a sizable dividend COULD result in a prompt price drop, and then a "triangle downgrade." So for certain issues, we should be careful to take dividends and distributions into account and not get scared off ex-dividend. Tom
I called up the link to join the Webinar - but it was returned as an incorrect address - please advise.
Dear Ric,
The link you see is actually an email address. Please paste and copy this email address

. I believe that their "beta" webinar is full, but it is worth a try asking if there any more spots. I know these webinars will be a weekly event for new members, but there's no reason why older members can't get in on the action too.

I joined the webinar, I barely hear the voice. I informed my representative mellisa about it, but technical problem was not resolved, do you gonna have on video where I can see and I may have better luck. I think it will be better idea to have on your videos(ofcourse with proper volume), as it will be a good marketing tool for your company as it will bring new members to your company. Please reply.
Hitesh,
I think you may have exited the webinar before we fixe the sound issues. I think we will have the webinar on demand for other members to watch. I'm not 100% sure when, but I do know that they will be continuing to do the webinars and you should join in again next time.
We appreciate the feedback.

Question for Jeremy or Adam. I wasn't able to find the answer in blogs or elsewhere.
Dividends. After they're paid out, there's usually a price drop in the market value (price) of a stock (or a mutual fund too). With luck, that dividend might be substantial, so the ensuing price drop might be substantial
After such a price drop, does it affect our TRIANGLES?
Tom Ervin
Tom,
The Trade Triangle technology we developed relies on price action and does not take in a variable like dividends. We have found that prices action is the most important aspect of market direction.
All the best,
Adam
