  1. I Salute all men who have served this country!!!!! THE BEST THIS COUNTRY HAS TO OFFER! IF IT WERE NOT FOR PEOPLE WILLING TO LAY DOWN THEIR LIFE FOR (FREEDOM) THERE WOULD BE NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU DECIDE TO BURN THE FLAG IN THIS COUNTRY ( THANK A VET) IN ANY OTHER COUNTRY YOU WOULD BE SHOT!!!!!!! I signed up for Vietnam the day after i got my COLLEGE DEFERMENT, after all these years i believe they should have fought their on battle just like our CIVIL WAR!!!!!! Everyone around the world is just like us they want to have a family , peace and fun!!!!!! Why don't we just try to live in PEACE!!! I salute all veterans around the world because all of us fought for our familes and what we believe in. AND I ESPECIALLY SALUTE THE AMERICAN VETERANS OF ALL OUR WARS BECAUSE I AM AN AMERICAN AND KNOW THAT I HAVE BEEN BLESSED TO BE BORN HERE!!!! THANK YOU FELLOW VETERANS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Thank you to all of our current and former military personel, who daily willingly risk their lives so that I may enjoy the freedom that this unselfish act brings.

  3. Eighteen months in Vietnam, two Purple Hearts, etc. Bad enough, but I salute those who have done multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and again we are walking away. How can anyone trust us?

  4. I join you and offer my thanks to all those that have served, now serving and their families as well. Thank you for your service to our great country. Blessings.

  5. Military duty in the Middle East is a lonely sacrifice of one's early years even if you don't get shot or blown up. The men are not to be trusted and the women hide in burkas. I would like to say that I am proud of them but I am not worthy. I served in Germany in the sixties where we could meet girls, travel and drink beer. Mine was not a sacrifice. I guess that I say that I respect and salute them.

    1. I also served in Germany in ww11 and they were not so friendly then..Bu I got through it unscate and am proud of being able to serve...

    2. You know what, it doesn't matter. When I signed up, I didn't have a clue whether there was a war just waiting to start during my hitch or not and neither did you, or many others for that matter. If it happened, you'd have been sent and that's the point. Otherwise, it's the luck of the draw, unless of course you join, or were drafted during a conflict already in progress (like during Korea, WW11, or Vietnam). Be happy you had a good hitch because win or lose, war is really not fun!
