I just got back from a back to back to back cruise on the magic had a good time & would go again. Have been on 11 cruises with carnival in the last 2 years have had a good time on all.I will be going again soon & just bought 100 shares of stock today on carnival.
This accident shouldn't deter anyone from taking a cruise unless it's a continual occurrence. If you hear about a plane crash, would you stop flying? If you hear about a car crash, would you stop driving? People just need to take a common sense approach to every situation. Nuff said.
Nothing to do with the accident. It has to do with Carnival's dismal response. Nuff said.
I'll get my own boat and bring my own booze. Thanks
If this stock follows the path of other company s that have gotten themselves in deep do do it is a good stock to follow and "lets see how it plays out". << Adam's saying for sure
I prefer Semester at Sea ( a university ship with educated travel).
Why would I go on the Walmart of cruise lines when I want to have a great vacation.
I would NEVER travel with Carnival.....
Celebrity is the best

Ironically, I took a cruise on the Triumph back in December. She was having some issues even then - but everybody on the ship was having the time of their lives! If you look back to the Costa Concordia disaster, you will see that Carnival's stock swooned - and then recovered completely. Carnival may not be at the top of the charts in terms of amenities - her ships are not luxury ships - but she delivers the goods and at a good price. Carnival owns about half of the cruise industry - and one ship disaster is not going to impact the price of Carnival stock. Buy futures now and you will come out way ahead!
I agree. Basically a tavern on the water, whose participants are far more concerned with alcohol consumption than anything else.
You want to cruise? Look at Celebrity, Princess, Holland, or Royal Caribbean. It's a much better experience, and you're not surrrounded by drunks all day.
Just returned Sunday on Carnival. I used to own a bar so drunks are not foreign to me but this was a total failure on the part of the staff and especially security. Women were groped and manhandled at the casino bar all night everynight. One of these middle aged scumbags would make regular trips to the teen club to hit on 13 and 14 year old girls. At no time did anyone get cut off and even when asked the bartenders refused to reign them in. I never once saw security present in the casino bar and certainly never saw security put a stop to any illegal behavior. Carnival is just not safe for women and children!
Carnival owns Princess and Holland.
you must look at it this way how meny vayage shave thay had with out troubel ??????
Carnival was never my cruise line. They are/were mainly a noisy 24 hour a day party boat with short cruises.
I had a very good experience with Norwegian Cruise to Ak.
I did a Norwegian Cruise to AK also. Great.
