The problem with the streaming format is that is requires wide internet bandwidth. With my DSL connection at home, listening/watching your streaming shows is impractical with all the dropout interruptions. At work we have a very broadband connection, so it works pretty well, with only a few dropouts when the network is preempted by other activity.
As Lynn mentioned, with the previous technology, the video could be paused to allow it to download, and then watched smoothly.
Don't assume all your perspective viewers have ultra-wide band internet.
Thanks for your presentations.
Steve,
I guess I have to say it's a trade off. The technology we are using now allows us to get more timely information to our members in a more efficient manner.
Thanks for your feedback. Hope it is not a problem watching us at work.
All the best,
Adam
really really wish you guys would get an iPad app going, I would be on it all day long.
It stinks, Mike! Unfortunately, iPad is really strict about which programs they allow to be used on the product. The problem lies with the iPad not allowing users access to Adobe. We suggest the Android Tablet to members instead, since it provides complete access to MarketClub! On the bright side, you should be able to access all of our recent and current videos at any time through your iPad. Simply go to http://www.livestream.com/marketclub
Hope that helps!

Thank you Jeremy for explaining that for me.
but what is Trend Analysis Score?

MKS
Thank you for the Updates.
do these trading triangles work in a smaller time frame(s) such as 60, 30, 15, ... minutes?
and keep up the good work 🙂
MKS,
The Trade Triangle signals are produced by a triggering of our proprietary algorithm. The RED and GREEN triangles signify changes in trend on a monthly, weekly and daily level. We do not offer them for intra-day charting such as 15min, 30min or 60min. The triangles are produced for all 250,000 symbols we track. Once the triangles are produced, they are never removed and are able to be backtested according to your own unique trading style.
MarketClub suggests a filtering approach when following the Trade Triangle signals. The filtering approach differs between security types and trading style.
The Trade Triangle algorithm is comprised of weighted factors that include, but are not limited to price change, percentage change, moving averages, and new highs/lows.
GREEN triangles suggest positive trends.
RED triangles suggest negative trends.
The Trade Triangle algorithm is not intended to catch tops and bottoms, but instead identifies the majority of a swing trend. By allowing the trend to mature before a triangle is issued, we can trust that the trend is more steady and stable.
Note: The triangles will always be produced regardless of trend strength. The triangles should be used when you have a significant trend strength. You can use the Trend Analysis Score or other technical analysis studies to ensure the trend strength is appropriate for trading. For example, if a market is in a sideways motion, the triangles will still be produced even though you may want to be on the sidelines for that particular market.

Best,

Hi Adam,
Thanks for these market commentarys you are doing, I really think they bring the TT's to life and helps us better understand the markets. As I'm in the UK, I mainly use MC for FOREX and metals/oil as you don't cover the London market, but I wondered if you cover the FTSE 100 index with other world indexes other than just the US indexes? Also, in the UK I like to look at trading Sectors rather than individual stocks - do you cover Sectors in the US markets with TT's?
Thanks again, all very helpful, I'll be certainly be renewing my membership this year!
Regards,
Chris
Chris,
Thank you for your positive feedback.
We do plan on carrying the UK stock market sometime in the not too distant future. Right now we are working on the Aussie exchange to get that up. I would imagine that once that exchanges is up and running the LSE would be next inline. Let's keep our fingers crossed on that one.
Sector analysis is also on the drawing board.
All the best,
Adam
I'm having trouble with the videos. Usually, I can pause a video- wait for it to load- and then watch it a few minutes later, but yours don't keep loading??? It would be great if there was a transcript for us hillbillies out here. Thank You.
Lynn,
Sorry to heard that you are having problems. The new format for MarketClub TV is a streaming format. It allows our company to have a faster more efficient platform to deliver information to our members. At this time we have no plans to do transcripts of the show. Maybe in the future.
All the best,
Adam
