Steve Jobs, Apple, the iPad, and King Gillette

On Wednesday, after much hype and drama, Steve Jobs walked onstage and unveiled Apple's latest creation - the iPad. Having watched almost every key address for Apple for many years I, like many others, were disappointed that the product didn't live up to the hype. Nonetheless, Apple will sell a boatload of these products, but not as many as the iPhone.

Upon reflection, it occurred to me that Steve Jobs is changing the whole business model of Apple and I don't believe anyone has caught on to this yet.

In all the reports I've read after the launch of the iPad, I think every writer/analyst missed this key point: Steve Jobs wants to be like King Gillette.

If you don't know who King Gillette was, you may not old enough to shave. King Gillette started his business at the beginning of the century. His business model is what I believe Apple's business model will be in the future.

What now for APPLE (AAPL) New Video

In this week's video we are revisiting Apple, Inc (NASDAQ_AAPL). I last looked at Apple on April 9th, when it was trading at considerably lower levels than where we are right now. At that time I made some projections using MarketClub's Fibonacci tool, as to where I thought Apple was headed.

Obviously Apple has moved quite a bit and I want to revisit some of these key levels that I think may be a real challenge to this market in the very near term.

How high can Apple go?

In this short video, I will take a look at Apple, Inc (NYSE_AAPL). I have to admit I love Apple products. I have an iPhone, an iMac and an iPod touch and several other Mac add-ons.

I have always loved their products, but I tend to be fickle with the stock. Thanks to our "Trade Triangle" technology, I have fallen in love all over again with Apple's stock. I had been looking for this market to move lower based on the economic conditions and the market action, however this proved to be a false indication as Apple has moved to its best levels in quite some time.
