What's Ahead For June?<\/span>
\nIt's May 31st, the last trading day of the month and the week. In today's video, I will look ahead into our crystal ball (just kidding!) and share with you what I see coming up in June. You might be surprised at my conclusions.<\/p>\n

The 52-Week Rule<\/span>
\nI learned this rule many years ago from a trader named Bill, when I was trading in the pits of the Chicago Mercantile where I was a member. Over the years, it has proven to have a high degree of success. Just remember, there are no guarantees made or implied that this approach works with every trade. I suggest you watch it, paper trade it, and draw your own conclusions. Here are the three rules you need to trade \"The 52-Week New Highs on Friday Rule\":<\/p>\n

Rule # 1: On a new 52-week high, when the market closes at or close to its high on a Friday, buy long and go home long for the weekend.<\/p>\n

Rule # 2: Exit the long position on the opening the following Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Rule # 3: If the market opens sharply lower on Monday, exit the position immediately.<\/p>\n

\"The 52-Week New Highs on Friday Rule\" works extremely well in futures and in the Forex markets. This rule can be reversed for \"The 52-Week New Lows on Friday Rule\" if you are so inclined to trade the short side of the market. The same rules apply.<\/p>\n

But Wait, There's More<\/span>
\nIn addition to looking at our normal markets, we will also be looking for stocks to take advantage of the 52-week high rule. If you haven't watched any of my recent videos, you may enjoy them, especially my latest one on Apple.<\/p>\n
