Hello MarketClub members everywhere. You've probably heard by now that the Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) is not going to be moving one of its plants to Mexico. Finally, the U.S. is waking up and realizing that it cannot be a superpower while having a service economy. Whether you voted for Trump or not, I think we have to give him credit for this save. Hopefully, some of the other promises he made will also help the U.S. economy like lowering taxes and nixing some of the onerous regulations that are handicapping businesses in the U.S.
So far the markets seem to like what they see with all of the indexes higher for the week. The big winner this week was the NASDAQ (NASDAQ:COMP) which jumped +1.84%.
However, the biggest winner for the week is Crude Oil (NYMEX:CL.Z16.E) which is up +5.32% for the week. The big loser is gold (NYMEX:GC.Z16.E) which is down -0.87%. Let’s examine how the Trade Triangles are positioned in both of these markets.
Crude Oil: The Trade Triangles are mixed - indicating a sidelines position.
December Gold: All of the Trade Triangles are Red - indicating a negative trend.

OK, now read into the comment that was made (...allowing the plant to boost output of the Escape, one of its hottest models) and ask yourself "where will the increased output of the Escape now be accomplished"? Mexico? Louisville? Anywhere in the USA? Here we are with the typical 1/2 story on a topic that Trump is claiming a big success with. Why does partial reporting like this get any attention at all? Doesn't anyone think thoroughly on this politically motivated hype anymore and get all the facts before carrying on about it?

Turned out that Trump lied. The Kentucky plant wasn't moving and Bill Ford did not give Donnie a "special" call. That's the second time Trump made a BS claim and was shot down by Ford.
Actual you are lying or you are being lied to by the media(NBC, MSBC, CNN, Ect).
You would think after the media got caught red handed lying about polling and handing question to Clinton before interviews and debates that you would not be so foolish as to believe them.

We do not know whether Ford's decision had to do with Trump, but the news released not long before the election that GM's Buick division was making cars in China for export to the U.S. can not have gobe down well with the American taxpayers who were forced to bail them out- in contravention of existing commercial code regarding bankruptcy, yet- in 2008.
From what I read, that plant wasn't going anywhere, anyway.
