My Early Morning Appearance On CNBC Asia

MY EARLY MORNING APPEARANCE ON CNBC ASIA
I had the pleasure last night or I should say early this morning to be interviewed by the lovely Chloe Cho of CNBC ASIA in Singapore about my outlook on the markets.

I thought you might enjoy this clip watching this lively exchange on Chloe's "Capital Connection" show. The delightful Carolin Roth who also anchors the show out of London asked me a very interesting question, about a well known stock. My answer may surprise you just as it surprised Chloe and Carolin.

Here is the link it will take you to the clip I am talking about. You may have to view a brief commercial coming from CNBC (not us) before the clip plays.

Today's Video Update: Apple Is Officially Moving Sideways

Hello traders everywhere! Adam Hewison here, President of INO.com and Co-creator of MarketClub, with your mid-day market update for Monday, the 15th of July.

Every July, it gets very hot and humid here in Maryland and the markets seem to be following suit. The energy markets and the equity markets are hot right now and all in strong upward trends.

One thing to note today is that Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is now officially moving sideways according to the new weekly Trade Triangle. This is in contrast to the strong downward trend we have seen in this stock from the $700 level. What does this mean? Well, it could mean that we are in the early stages of a double bottom base being put in place in this once-high-flying stock that institutional investors love. If that is true and we see a new piece of technology coming out of Apple (like a smart watch?), Apple could easily rally back to the $550 level. The key level to watch here is the $466 level. If that level is taken out, then it could be off to the races for Apple.

Don't Miss My Appearance On CNBC Closing Bell Today
Yours truly will be appearing on CNBC's "Closing Bell" with Maria Bartiromo today at 4:50 Eastern time. I hope you have a chance to tune in and see my latest thoughts on what's going on for tomorrow's markets.

Music service, mobile software expected from Apple

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is expected to reveal a digital radio service and changes to the software behind iPhones and iPads on Monday as the company opens its annual conference for software developers. Apple hasn't said what it will unveil at the Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. But the major announcements are expected during Monday's keynote presentation. Last year, Apple used the conference to announce its own mapping service, better integration with social networks and improvements to virtual assistant Siri. It also announced thinner MacBooks with high-resolution screens. The conference runs through Friday.

This year, Apple is expected to show off a simplified look on iPhones and iPads. If the speculation is correct, it would be the most radical design change since the iPhone made its debut in 2007, showing consumers that phones could do much more than make calls and exchange messages.

This week's event comes at an important time for Apple. The company's stock price has fallen amid concerns that another breakthrough product isn't imminent. Although CEO Tim Cook has said people shouldn't expect new products until the fall, Apple is likely to preview how future products will function in its unveiling of new services and features.
