Poll: What are your thoughts on last night's State of The Union Address?

President Obama used his State of the Union address Tuesday night to address government spending, Medicare and declare that victims of gun violence “deserve a vote” on a sweeping gun control package.

Obama largely spoke these main issues, while adding a roster of wish-list items – including a call to increase the federal minimum wage to $9 an hour, up from $7.25, and pass immigration reform.

I felt like the theme of the speech was about boosting the middle class and jolting what continues to be a tepid economic recovery. We wanted to know......

Poll: Retail store or online?

I've always been the guy who waited until the last possible minute to finish my Christmas shopping which usually meant Christmas Eve. This year I decided to do most of my shopping online with a few stops at local retail stores sprinkled in. Now that my Christmas shopping is done I thought about how my shopping habits have changed and thought. How many of our members/readers use online shopping vs. brick and mortar retail locations?

How did you do your hoilday shopping this year?

You do not want to be ending your year at the mercy of markets that are erratic at best. You may as well just head out to Las Vegas and take a shot at the roulette wheel.

So how can you avoid this trading trap? Here's what I do every year: Continue reading "Poll: Silly Season starts today, so be prepared"
