  1. Ok Adam, thanks for letting me know. I think I'll get out of SIL and into SLV (if yet another buy signal shows up for SLV).

  2. So what fancy do you offer that requires the latest Flash player 10.x, but should not want to work with the 8.y or 9.z versions?

  3. Hello again Adam,

Well, I like SLV too and I know that it holds real silver. SIL is an ETF for silver miners including the following top 10 holdings:

    Silver Wheaton Corporation (SLW): 12.74%
Industrias Penoles SAB de CV (PE&OLES): 11.10%
    Fresnillo PLC (FRES): 10.44%
Pan American Silver Corporation (PAAS): 9.82%
First Majestic Silver Corp (AG): 6.86%
Coeur D'Alene Mines Corporation (CDE): 5.64%
    Silvercorp Metals Inc. (SVM): 5.22%
    Hochschild Mining PLC (HOC): 4.45%
    Hecla Mining Company (HL): 4.40%
Silver Standard Resources, Inc. (SSRI): 4.32%

So, I thought that buying this ETF would also be a good way and a leveraged way to profit on increasing silver prices - after all, any increase in silver prices goes directly to the bottom line profits of all the companies within this ETF. If SLV and spot silver are increasing in price, then it would be logical for silver miner's stock prices and SIL's price to be increasing too, but that has not be the case and instead, the silver miners and SIL have been lagging behind the price of silver and the SLV etf. So, do you happen to know why this is occurring? It makes absolutely no sense to me.

    1. Pablo,

Stocks need sponsors to move higher. There just happens to be more sponsors (buyers) of SLV than SIL.
      That is the bottom line.

      Adam

  4. I haven't been able to watch any videos. I have an excellent signal- have no problem with other videos- and I even had to refresh the page just to leave a message. Please- A transcript would be fine. Or some other video format maybe? I used to be able to open your old videos with no problem at all.

    1. Lynn,

We have gone to a more main stream video service that makes it easier for our viewers to see the videos. Unfortunately we do not provide transcripts as the videos are done live. You may need to update your Flash Player especially if you are on a Mac.

Here's a link to the Flash Player update page.

  5. Hi Adam,

Like some (many) of us, I waited and waited to get a "decent" entry point on SLV, but to no avail!
The last entry point seemed to be back last February... which I missed.
What should I wait for? A downward weekly triangle becoming an upward triangle? It could take months!
Eventhough you mostly use the monthly and weekly signals, should I then use the daily trade triangle for the next entry point?

Thanks for your insight on my next strategy.

    Peter A.

    1. Peter,

You know how we trade with our monthly and weekly Trade Triangles. As we speak we are making new highs on SLV. Can it fall back yes, can it go higher yes. We have a $48 to $50 target zone for spot silver. I really cannot give you personal trading advice as that would be unfair to all our other members. Take a look at the 52 week rule this week as it did not work well last weekend.

      Adam

  6. Hi,
I would like to ask you why are you so interested in inflation and the CR symbol since you seem to trade essentially based on TA
    Best
    Manuel

    1. Manuel,

The CR symbol tracks essential commodity prices and reflects the basic trend of inflation which in turn effects other prices. And yes, you are correct, I am a TA trader based on our Trade Triangle technology.

      All the best,
      Adam

  7. Adam , What are your thoughts on Lithium Mining. I got in on LEXG and right now it's doing well in last 52wks it's gone from .07 to 2.60 and right now I'm at about a 75% proffit from my entry I've seen some talk on FORC now at .19 but still researching it right now!

    1. Gary,

      Thank you for your feedback.

I do not look at or trade penny stocks so I really am not qualified to give you an opinion.

      All the best,
      Adam

  8. SIL holds plenty of PAAS and CDE shares which got hit hard today. Both have sizable mining operations in Bolivia, where talk is about sharing responsibilities with the locals (nationalization to some degree), which Wall Street doesn't like as much. Even SCCO (copper in Peru) went further South lately.

  9. Its great, you are doing great job with your trade triangle its really working ,but sir can you expect time period for silver to reach 50$and for gold 1500$,thank you

  10. Hi Adam,
Your daily recap is the absolute best on the web.
Silver has been amazing -- my only concern is that it is 50% ABOVE its daily 200 day moving average.
This parabolic move up has to come down to earth someday, kiss & make up with the 200-ma.
So I'm watching GLD & the GDXJ, & SIL etfs for confirmation of the SLV rocket ride up and its eventual correction.

  11. I am not able to view/listen the complete video on any day. it play for couple of minutes and reset to start position. Tried on 3 different browsers and the behavior is same.

  12. Hello Adam,

I have a question - I have a large position in SIL (silver miner's ETF) and I don't understand why it is not following or keeping up with silver (SLV). I'm guessing it's because the market itself is weak and, therefore, it's putting selling pressure on the stocks within the SIL etf - would that explain it? Are the silver miners undervalued now, especially since silver/SLV keeps hitting new highs? I thought that SIL would be a leveraged way to play silver prices, but so far it has not been the case and I'm very dissapointed (I think I should've bought SLV instead). Could you please address this for me? Thanks!

    1. Pablo,

We like and are in SLV and not SIL.

SLV is backed up and holds real silver , not sure what's behind SIL.

      Adam
