Daily Video Update: Here is my predication for the elections in Greece this weekend

Hello traders everywhere! Adam Hewison here, co-founder of MarketClub with your mid-day market update for Thursday, the 14th of June.

No matter what happens this weekend, it will not be good in Greece. They could either have a complete election stalemate, or the Greeks could vote to reject austerity, which means disaster. Ask yourself this question: who in their right mind would vote to have something taken away from them?

In all my years in the market, I don't believe anyone has seen anything quite like this before. It is certainly different this time. What does any good politicians do during this particular financial Armageddon that's continuing to build? They kick the can down the road, of course. What the world needs more than anything, in my humble opinion, are some real leaders to step up to the plate and figure out what has to be done. Daily Video Update: Political uncertainty creates choppy markets and investor frustration

What, if anything, has changed? The European problem is still around and hasn't gone away. The US is up to its eyeballs in debt and US companies don't want to bring their money back into the US because of high taxes and political uncertainty. And if that was not enough, we have a Greek election on the 17th. What's an investor to do?

Daily Video Update: Obama urges decisive action on European Debt Crisis … Europe Yawns

One thing that Europeans dislike intensely, is the United States telling them what to do. President Obama's comments today are not going to be taken well by Chancellor Angela Merkel or other politicians in the euro zone.

Several European countries have problems with other European countries and dislike being dictated too by Germany. They dislike it even more when any American President comes in and tries to lay down the law. There are no painless fixes for what has been going on for years.
